Playbill called her one of the top 10 female playwrights to watch alongside Emily Mann, Sarah Ruhl, Young Jean Lee, Katori Hall, Theresa Rebeck and Lisa Ramirez. The Advocate Magazine called her play Sweet, Sweet Spirit a “rich, insightful and devastating drama” and Playbill named it a Top 10 must-see fall show. Her play The Guadalupe was an O’Neill semifinalist and produced by Chautauqua Theater Company under the direction of Broadway director Ethan McSweeny.
